COMPANY OVERVIEW

13 Years of Trusted
Trade Partnership

Union International Limited is an established logistics and trade-technology company based in Nairobi, Kenya. Founded in 2013, Union has spent over a decade moving cargo through Kenya’s key customs and transport systems, building deep operational experience across the Northern and Central Corridors that connect the ports of Mombasa and Dar es Salaam to the African Great Lakes region.

The company is organised around three divisions — Union Clearing & Forwarding (logistics and customs brokerage), Union Technology Solutions (trade automation software), and Union R&D (intelligence and product innovation). Each division is self-sustaining, yet mutually reinforcing: operations inform technology, technology informs research, and research shapes the next generation of services.

Our Vision

To be East Africa's most trusted gateway to global trade.

Our Mission

To simplify global trade through innovative logistics, customs brokerage, and technology-driven solutions that connect businesses to opportunities worldwide.

Our Structure

Three Divisions,
One Mission

Each division operates independently with its own leadership, client base, and service delivery — and each makes the others stronger through shared intelligence and infrastructure.

Union Clearing & Forwarding

Logistics &
Customs Brokerage

The founding division and the core of Union's business. 13 years of corridor-tested expertise across customs clearance, freight forwarding, bonded warehousing, cross-border transit, project cargo, and trade advisory services. KRA-licensed, COMESA-registered, and deeply embedded in the Northern and Central Corridor ecosystems.

Union Technology Solutions

Technology &
Automation

Digital products built to solve problems Union identified in its own operations — then refined and offered commercially. Limited shipment visibility, slow customs paperwork, and fragmented fleet oversight are the problems; cargo tracking systems, customs automation software, fleet management platforms, and a clearing ERP are the solutions. Every product is proven on a live desk before it reaches any client.

Union Research & Development

Research & Development

The intelligence engine that keeps Union ahead. Turning 13 years of live corridor data into strategic trade analytics, monitoring the regulatory horizon for EAC and AfCFTA developments, and running a structured product pipeline that moves from internal pain point to commercial release through disciplined research, prototyping, and live-desk validation.
